NEXTCHEM, part of the MAIRE Group, seeks a Patent Counsel to join the NX Engineering District in Catania, Sicilia. You will advise on IP matters, harvest inventions with R&D, and manage patent prosecution with external counsel to protect technology in nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon capture and polymers fields.

The role requires a Technical Master Degree in science or engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred), at least 7 years of experience, excellent English, and proactive, team-oriented

Competenze

• At least 7 years of experience as Patent Counsel.
• Technical Master Degree in science or engineering (Chemical Eng. preferred).
• Excellent command of English is essential.

Mansioni

• Advise colleagues on patent or IP matters.
• Harvest potentially patentable inventions with R&D team.
• Study technology to understand the invention in depth.
• Define scope of patent searches with inventors.
