Job summary

NTT DATA Romania is seeking a Senior .NET Developer / Technical Lead to join a specialized team in financial software, developing desktop apps that integrate third‑party data into accounting workflows.

You will lead the initial portfolio of .NET applications, set technical direction, and help establish a broader .NET capability within the team. The role supports either permanent or freelance collaboration, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong hands-on experience with WPF and desktop applications.
• Experience with PowerShell for scripting and automation.
• Proficient in XML and JSON data formats.
• Experience with async/await and responsive desktop applications.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and external services.
• Experience writing unit tests and practicing testable code.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality desktop apps using C#, .NET, and WPF.
• Help establish technical standards for the growing .NET portfolio.
• Work on apps that process financial data from banks, e‑commerce, payments, and payroll.
• Design and integrate components for data exchange across systems.
• Work with XML and JSON in data-processing workflows.
• Use PowerShell for scripting and automation.
• Implement asynchronous programming using async/await.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and external services.
• Write well-structured, testable code with unit tests.
• Troubleshoot issues and propose sustainable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Contribute to code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Create technical documentation.
• Work with Agile teams to deliver increments.
