STI Corporate S.p.A. in Trieste is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in marine applications. You will be responsible for designing mechanical systems, preparing documentation, and collaborating with the Marine team to meet project deadlines.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering and 5 to 10 years of experience. The position offers a gross annual salary between €37,000 and €47,000, training, and a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

• Design and sizing of mechanical systems for marine applications, including HVAC systems, ventilation systems, hydronic systems, and piping systems;
• Use of engineering calculation software for HVAC and piping design, as well as drafting and 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, and Intergraph Smart 3D;
• Preparation and management of technical documentation, project specifications, manuals, and technical reports;
• Collaboration with the Marine team to achieve project objectives within agreed schedules and budgets while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering; alternatively, a technical diploma in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering, or a Nautical Institute diploma;
• 5 to 10 years of proven experience in a similar role within the marine or shipbuilding industry;
• Proficiency in the following software:
  • AutoCAD
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • MicroStation
  • Revit
  • Intergraph Smart 3D
• Strong technical problem-solving skills;
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
