STI Corporate S.p.A. is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time position in Trieste, Italy, focused on designing mechanical systems for marine applications. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering and experience in the shipbuilding industry.

Descrizione del lavoro

Responsibilities

• Design and sizing of mechanical systems for marine applications, including HVAC systems, ventilation systems, hydronic systems, and piping systems;
• Use of engineering calculation software for HVAC and piping design, as well as drafting and 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, and Intergraph Smart 3D;
• Preparation and management of technical documentation, project specifications, manuals, and technical reports;
• Collaboration with the Marine team to achieve project objectives within agreed schedules and budgets while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering; alternatively, a technical diploma in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering, or a Nautical Institute diploma;
• 2 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar role within the marine or shipbuilding industry;
• Proficiency in the following software:
  • AutoCAD
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • MicroStation
  • Revit
  • Intergraph Smart 3D
• Strong technical problem‑solving skills;
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
