The Exploration Company is seeking a Lead Mission Assurance Engineer to head the RAMS/mission assurance function for our spacecraft programs. You will own the end-to-end safety strategy and be the technical authority across the program, mentoring a small team of engineers.

You will collaborate with design, test, and operations to drive risk reduction, validate fault management architectures, and ensure mission readiness under aggressive schedules.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in engineering or science required.
• 8+ years of RAMS, mission assurance, or systems safety experience on complex hardware.
• Experience leading teams or projects; strong technical direction and delivery.
• Proficiency with reliability tools (e.g., FMECA, FTA, RAM diagrams).
• Deep understanding of fault tolerance, redundancy, and failure handling.

Mansioni

• Own end-to-end safety architecture for the vehicle to meet safety and reliability requirements from internal teams and external programs (ISS, ESA, CNES).
• Oversee flight reliability, assess pre-flight risks and mitigations with design, analysis, and operations teams.
• Perform and review FMECA, FTA, PRA, RAM analyses to identify risks and failure modes.
• Define and validate spacecraft fault management and FDIR architecture.
• Collaborate with avionics, software, and operations teams to implement fault management strategies.
