Job summary

Brainfield It is seeking a Senior Microfabrication Engineer to join its Manufacturing & Operations team at the San Martino di Lupari plant in Padua, Italy. You will lead experiments, fabricate micro-scale parts and analyze results to support development of advanced electrochemical deposition equipment.

Ideal candidates have a MSc in Mechanical/Materials engineering, 2–5 years lab or cleanroom experience, and hands-on skills in laser micromachining, etching, CNC and CAD/CAM tools such as

Qualifications

• 2–5 years hands-on in lab/cleanroom or pilot line environments.
• Experience with laser micromachining or etching processes.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks, Alphacam).

Responsibilities

• Run experiments and produce microfabrication parts and test vehicles.
• Perform laser writing, scribing, ablation, and etching processes.
• Maintain tools with routine qualification, calibration and maintenance.
• Document parameters and reports with quantitative outputs.
