Job summary

Extreme Engineering Solutions is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to advance rugged embedded computing systems. The role emphasizes mechanical design, 3D modeling in Creo, drawing creation, analysis, and electromechanical integration with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, review work for quality, and communicate findings across departments. Onsite work at our facility in Verona, WI is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of related engineering experience.
• Proficient in solid modeling and drawing creation (Creo preferred).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of GD&T and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical engineering work to meet specifications.
• Support analysis-driven product development decisions.
• Communicate design status across teams and document decisions.
• Create and review 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using Creo.
• Review PCB mechanical fit and integration within assemblies.
• Evaluate FEA results and provide design recommendations.
• Analyze test data to identify root causes and implement improvements.
• Document analyses and communications for cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and review work for quality.
