Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its Innovation Experts Team in Italy on a full-time basis. The role focuses on mechanical design of industrial machinery and HVAC components, using Solid Edge and Creo CAD, with opportunities to develop new components, prototypes and subassemblies.

You will collaborate across cross-functional teams, validate designs through testing, and contribute to early-stage product concepts as well as sustaining activities for active product

Competenze

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the mechanical design of industrial machinery.
• Experience with HVAC equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems used in air conditioning.
• Experience with 3D CAD software (Solid Edge, Creo).
• Proactive in cross-functional teams and strong communication.

Mansioni

• Manage the full project lifecycle from development through to production.
• Perform 3D modeling using Solid Edge and Creo.
• Produce detailed drawings and technical documentation; liaise with suppliers.
• Report to the Innovation Experts Manager and comply with design guidelines.
• Support and supervise manufacturing activities, particularly during prototyping.
• Coordinate with Industrialization, Purchasing and QA to implement improvements.
• Lead innovation challenges focused on mechanical problems or basic thermodynamics.
