Versuni is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to shape the next generation of Gaggia espresso machines. You will design mechanical solutions from concept to industrialization with a focus on quality, cost, and manufacturability.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Manufacturing and supplier partners to drive innovations that delight coffee lovers worldwide. The role emphasizes hands-on development, project planning, and lifecycle support in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifikationen

• Technical diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years in mechanical engineering, preferably consumer products or coffee machine development.
• Fluent Italian and good command of English.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for espresso coffee machines, reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Team Lead.
• Create, optimize and validate mechanical designs from concept through detailed design, integration and product verification.
• Translate consumer, product and business requirements into robust and innovative engineering solutions.
• Develop verification plans and collaborate closely with Manufacturing and suppliers to ensure successful product integration and industrialization.
• Test, analyze and refine designs to meet quality, compliance, cost and performance targets while supporting a smooth production launch.
• Contribute to project planning by providing engineering estimates, identifying resource needs and reporting project progress in a structured manner.
• Support the ongoing lifecycle management and continuous improvement of existing products.
