Job summary

Exyte is seeking a senior procurement and subcontract management leader to shape and drive excellence across complex EPC projects. You will lead teams, optimize sourcing strategies, and ensure compliance with PSM and EHS policies while delivering commercial success.

As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, manage global vendor relationships, and travel as required to support project execution. Fluent German and strong English are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in project management, ideally within EPC projects or plant environments.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts and procurement processes.
• Global vendor management and strategic sourcing experience.
• Advanced IT skills including MS Office and SAP MM.
• Fluent German and good English written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor the Project Procurement Management and Project Subcontract Management teams.
• Provide expert guidance, support, and governance throughout all project procurement and subcontracting activities.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate PSM, EHS, and Corporate Compliance policies during project execution.
• Develop and enhance procurement and subcontracting strategies in alignment with business objectives and global initiatives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks to minimize claims and project impacts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, business units, and project teams to drive procurement excellence.
• Monitor procurement performance, optimize supplier engagement, and support project delivery.

• Strong understanding of commercial contracts, procurement processes, and subcontract management.
• Proven experience in global vendor management, supplier development, and strategic sourcing.
• Advanced IT skills, particularly in MS Office and SAP MM.
• Fluent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and team-motivation skills, combined with a willingness to travel.

The salary range for this position is between € 93'750 and € 115'500 gross per year (full-time). The exact salary will be determined within this range based on objective and transparent criteria, including role scope, qualifications, and relevant professional experience.
