Peraton is seeking a Senior Logistics Support Advisor to join the U.S. Army Africa Mission Support program, providing administrative and logistics planning support for operations and exercises across Africa. Location is on-site in Vicenza, Italy, with a 15-month term.

The role focuses on development of requirements, sustainment planning, and coordination with stakeholders to deliver effective logistics and acquisition processes for contingency locations.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of military experience, or a High School diploma and 10 years of U.S. Army experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Familiarity with DFAR, AFAR and the contracting process.
• Demonstrated U.S. Army experience and familiarity with the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, specifically Excel, Word, Power BI.
• Capable of being qualified in Joint Operational Contract Support Planning and Execution Course (JOPEC) within six months of start date.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Position requires 10% availability to travel

Mansioni

• Provide administrative and technical support to the G4/OCSIC in developing requirements for operations and exercises in Africa.
• Offer logistics and acquisition planning support to the Logistics Operations Division, including contingency operations.
• Develop sustainment support operations and logistics acquisition processes for AFRICOM locations.
• Coordinate with requirement holders to draft performance work statements, market research, and cost estimates.
• Track contract actions through acquisitions, highlighting challenges and improvement recommendations.
• Prepare briefings, correspondence, and staff summaries for senior management updates.
