TechBiz Global GmbH in Roma, Italy seeks a Technical Support Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator to maintain Linux systems, host panels, and web stacks. You will support WordPress/Laravel apps, manage mail, and ensure security with WAFs and backups.

The role emphasizes collaboration within the tech team, troubleshooting across Apache/Nginx/LiteSpeed, and enabling smooth migrations and disaster recovery. Multilingual communication helps client support.

Competenze

• Several years of hands-on experience in web hosting with technical support and system administration.
• Advanced proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Cross‑platform support in Windows Server environments (IIS, MSSQL).
• Deep understanding of cPanel/WHM, CloudLinux (LVE, CageFS, Selectors) and HTTP web server configurations (Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed).
• Strong knowledge of web technologies, databases, and server-side debugging.
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS).
• Ability to manage escalated tickets and collaborate with teams to deliver custom solutions.
• Nice-to-have automation: Bash, Python utilities, Ansible playbooks.

Mansioni

• Administer and maintain GNU/Linux systems and virtualized/containerized environments (OpenVZ, KVM, Docker).
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot hosting control panels (cPanel/WHM, Plesk) in shared hosting.
• Support web applications (WordPress, Laravel) and PHP/Node.js/Python stacks.
• Configure and maintain network/firewall/WAF security (ModSecurity, Imunify360).
• Troubleshoot mail flow; familiar with Exim, Dovecot, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and relays.
• Monitor services and tune Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed, MySQL/MariaDB; occasional PostgreSQL/Redis.
• Assist in migrations, backups, DR, failovers, and caching/CDN strategies.
• Provide multilingual support and clear client communication.
