Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in environmental microbiology or closely related field.
• Demonstrated research track record in environmental/planetary health microbiology.
• Experience with microbial or microbiome-based solutions for global change.

Responsibilities

• Establish internationally competitive research in environmental microbiology.
• Develop understanding of microbiome connectivity across ecosystems.
• Collaborate across disciplines and develop partnerships with government and industry.
• Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in relevant areas.
• Develop learning resources and curriculum innovation.
• Mentor HDR students and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture.
• Contribute to teaching and assessment using appropriate methods.
