ESPRIMO Srl is seeking a senior Java backend developer with expert Camunda/CIBseven knowledge to join a team delivering Camunda-based services. You will lead architectural evolution, work with product and architectural stakeholders, and drive the migration to CIBseven while coaching peers on DevOps and observability.

You will develop Java 17+ applications in an agile setting, align with enterprise IT standards, and contribute to end-to-end process improvements across the system landscape.

Competenze

• Expert-level experience with Camunda and/or CIBseven, including BPMN modelling, runtime ops and migrations.
• Senior Java backend developer with hands-on experience in complex enterprise environments using Java 17+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST.
• Experience with observability, monitoring and troubleshooting using Splunk, Grafana and Prometheus.
• Strong focus on end-to-end business processes, embedded team culture and technical sparring with peers.
• Solid understanding of MicroServices and Open API; CI/CD with Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure cloud services, ideally including Azure Service Bus; knowledge of SQL Server.
• Conceptual/architectural mindset and proactive, initiative-driven communication.

We are currently looking for a:

Your Tasks

• You work in a team responsible for several Camunda-based services in a complex system landscape.
• You act as the technical lead for the team's Camunda-based card application process system, own and evolve the software architecture vision, and align regularly with architects.
• You work closely with the Product Owner, Product Managers, Architects and business stakeholders to define and drive end-to-end solutions.
• You take a leading role in the migration from Camunda to CIBseven and act as a key technical expert for the topic.
• You support and coach the team on Camunda/CIBseven topics and help build sustainable internal know-how.
• You develop modern Java applications (Java 17+) in an agile team and contribute new ideas to a complex system landscape.
• You contribute to the operationalization of software solutions, take responsibility in 3rd level support, and engage in DevOps topics

Your Profile

• Expert-level experience with Camunda and/or CIBseven, including BPMN process modelling, runtime operations, troubleshooting, and migration topics
• Senior Java backend developer with many years of hands‑on experience in complex enterprise environments, using Java 17+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST, and related technologies
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting using tools such as Splunk, Grafan and Prometheus.
• Interest in becoming a deeply embedded member of the team, building domain knowledge, understanding business processes end‑to‑end, and acting as a trusted technical sparring partner.
• Strong background with MicroServices and Open API
• Solid understanding of clean code, automated testing, and build/deployment processes (CI/CD with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Azure cloud services, ideally including Azure Service Bus
• Knowledge of relational data modeling with SQL (MS SQL Server)
• A conceptual and architectural mindset
• Strong communication skills, initiative, and team spirit

The candidate is required to be available to work on-site at one of the client's locations three days per week (Vimercate, Verona, Roma, Bari, Catania, Napoli, Lecce, Trento, Rende)
