Esprimo S.r.l. is seeking an expert Senior Java backend engineer to own Camunda-based services within a complex landscape. You will lead architecture evolution, collaborate with Product Owners and Architects, and drive end-to-end solutions.

A key focus will be migrating Camunda to CIBseven and mentoring the team on Camunda/CIBseven topics. You will develop Java 17+ applications in an Agile team, contribute to DevOps and 3rd level support, and participate in on-site client work three days per

Qualificações

• Camunda and/or CIBseven expert with BPMN modelling, runtime operations, migration experience.
• Senior Java backend developer with 17+/Spring Boot/JPA/Hibernate/REST in complex enterprise environments.
• Observability and troubleshooting with Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Strong microservices and Open API background; CI/CD with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Azure cloud services experience, including Azure Service Bus; MS SQL Server knowledge.
• Willingness to work on-site three days per week at client locations in Italy.

We are currently looking for a:

Your Tasks

• You work in a team responsible for several Camunda-based services in a complex system landscape.
• You act as the technical lead for the team's Camunda-based card application process system, own and evolve the software architecture vision, and align regularly with architects.
• You work closely with the Product Owner, Product Managers, Architects and business stakeholders to define and drive end-to-end solutions.
• You take a leading role in the migration from Camunda to CIBseven and act as a key technical expert for the topic.
• You support and coach the team on Camunda/CIBseven topics and help build sustainable internal know-how.
• You develop modern Java applications (Java 17+) in an agile team and contribute new ideas to a complex system landscape.
• You contribute to the operationalization of software solutions, take responsibility in 3rd level support, and engage in DevOps topics

Your Profile

• Expert-level experience with Camunda and/or CIBseven, including BPMN process modelling, runtime operations, troubleshooting, and migration topics
• Senior Java backend developer with many years of hands‑on experience in complex enterprise environments, using Java 17+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST, and related technologies
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting using tools such as Splunk, Grafan and Prometheus.
• Interest in becoming a deeply embedded member of the team, building domain knowledge, understanding business processes end‑to‑end, and acting as a trusted technical sparring partner.
• Strong background with MicroServices and Open API
• Solid understanding of clean code, automated testing, and build/deployment processes (CI/CD with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Azure cloud services, ideally including Azure Service Bus
• Knowledge of relational data modeling with SQL (MS SQL Server)
• A conceptual and architectural mindset
• Strong communication skills, initiative, and team spirit

The candidate is required to be available to work on-site at one of the client's locations three days per week (Vimercate, Verona, Roma, Bari, Catania, Napoli, Lecce, Trento, Rende)
