Xebia is seeking a senior Java backend engineer to design and maintain integration services across Azure, with Java 11+ and Spring Boot. You will implement XML processing, file‑based integrations, event‑driven microservices, and Docker/Kubernetes deployments, leveraging MuleSoft and Azure DevOps.

Competenze

7+ years of professional Java backend development.
Hands‑on with Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
Experience with XML processing and file‑based integrations.
Practical Azure services experience (Blob Storage, Service Bus, Event Hub, Azure SQL).
Experience with microservices and event‑driven systems.
Knowledge of resilient integration patterns (retry, DLQ, idempotency).
MuleSoft integrations and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).
Proficient with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
English (B2) and Italian (B2) required, willingness to travel to Italy.

Mansioni

Develop and maintain backend integration services using Java and Spring Boot.
Implement XML processing and file‑based integrations, including XML generation/handling.
Design and implement microservices and event‑driven solutions on Azure.
Apply resilient integration patterns (retry, dead-letter queues, idempotency, reconciliation).
Integrate services with MuleSoft; contribute to CI/CD via Azure DevOps.
Work with Docker and Kubernetes (prefer AKS) and troubleshoot production issues.
