Alium is seeking a Java Software Developer (Offboard/Cloud) for an automotive project in Turin, Italy. You will work on vehicle diagnostics, telemetry, and OTA software updates with a senior backend focus.

The role requires 5+ years of backend experience, strong Java/Spring, REST APIs, and cloud tooling. Expect a full-time on-site position with modern CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and database experience.

Competenze

• 5+ years backend software engineering experience.
• Strong Java/Spring/Spring Boot experience.
• REST API development and microservices architecture.
• Maven or Gradle proficiency.
• JUnit and integration testing experience.
• Solid understanding of OOD and design patterns.
• Cloud experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle).

Mansioni

• Build scalable backend services using Java, Spring & Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Process vehicle diagnostics and telemetry data.
• Implement cloud-to-vehicle OTA update pipelines.
• Ensure secure and reliable software/firmware deployment.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Test backend interactions with simulators (Vector CANoe).
