Job summary

OverIT is hiring a backend engineer to design and develop high-quality backend services and REST APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. You will own data models on Oracle and craft event-driven flows with Kafka, while leveraging Redis for caching and session state.

You will implement OIDC-based authentication, modernize legacy components, publish internal libraries, and build robust test suites, with a focus on secure-by-design software and AI-assisted development practices.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Software Engineering with end-to-end backend systems.
• Deep expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Data, Security).
• Hands-on with Kafka and Redis; relational DBs, Oracle in particular.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and REST APIs with Java/Spring.
• Own complex data models on Oracle; implement event-driven flows with Kafka; use Redis for cache and state.
