Barilla Group in Parma is seeking an Inventory Revaluation/Devaluation Senior Analyst to govern inventory valuation principles, ensure correct postings, and coordinate the centralized valuation process across plants and SAP-managed entities.

You will drive variance analyses, support monthly closings, and ensure alignment between balance sheets and P&L. The role involves physical inventories, audits, and collaboration with internal teams across international operations.

Competenze

• University degree in Economics or similar.
• At least 2 years of experience in Administration or Finance.
• Advanced Excel skills are a plus
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to data accuracy
• Ability to work in complex and international environments

Mansioni

• Ensure accurate FIFO inventory postings for all managed companies in line with month-end closing calendar across raw materials, packaging, semi-finished and finished goods.
• Support year-end LIFO inventory valuation for Barilla G. e R. Fratelli S.p.A.
• Oversee accounting management of subcontracting materials, mill production and semi-finished goods, with focus on sauces.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment for maintenance activities affecting cost centers and investments.
• Reconcile SAP R/3 data with inventory reports for materials within COGS area.
• Manage labour cost allocation for production cost centers and related activities.
• Perform annual physical inventory controls at plants, warehouses, mills and external locations.
• Provide inventory and production cost information to external auditors after year-end closing.
