Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Commissioning and Maintenance Instrument Superintendent for the Venezia Refinery. You will report to the Commissioning Manager and manage resources to ensure safe, compliant commissioning, start-up and maintenance activities in alignment with project goals.

The role requires a technical degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering and relevant oil & gas experience. Italian language and English (B2) are expected; temporary contract with a minimum salary tag of €43,000 per

Qualifications

Experience as Commissioning and Maintenance Instrument Superintendent in Oil & Gas.
Ability to read and interpret project documentation (P&IDs, isometrics, piping layouts).
Strong leadership to develop and supervise the assigned team.

Responsibilities

Ensure Commissioning, Start-up and Maintenance activities comply with HSE requirements and participate in safety walkdowns and investigations.
Verify that commissioning requirements are addressed in engineering documentation and assist planning and scheduling.
Coordinate commissioning, start-up and maintenance activities, including vendors, resources and logistics, ensuring timely reporting.
Supervise preventive, condition-based and corrective maintenance and optimize maintenance plans and spare parts.
Lead and develop the team, identify training gaps and ensure preparation for activities.
