Job summary

ABB Robotics Global Internal Audit seeks a senior data analytics professional to develop and run analytics for audits, validate results, and present insights. You will work with Data Analytics, IS, Finance and the broader business in a hybrid environment.

The role requires a decade of data analytics experience, strong Python/SQL skills, and fluency in English, with cloud data platforms and BI tools a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in data analytics or data science, preferably in Internal Audit, risk, controls, or assurance.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with experience handling complex datasets.
• Understanding of statistical methods including clustering, forecasting, and classification.
• Experience translating risks into analytical requirements and explaining results to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data lakes/cloud platforms and visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills; ability to work independently.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining and preparing data with Data Analytics to address data quality issues.
• Developing and executing repeatable analytics for audits and identifying anomalies.
• Documenting methods, assumptions, and results for traceability.
• Validating results with audit teams and communicating insights via visualizations and reports.
• Assisting development of AI-enabled audit processes and automation.
