Job summary

ABB Robotics is seeking a senior data analytics professional to support internal audits through advanced analytics, data prep, and AI-enabled processes. You will partner with the Data Analytics team and stakeholders to ensure accurate, actionable insights across operational, financial, and compliance audits.

The role requires a strong background in Python, SQL, data lakes or cloud platforms, and experience communicating complex results to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in data analytics or data science, preferably within Internal Audit, risk, controls, or a comparable assurance environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience preparing, validating, and analyzing complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining and preparing data in collaboration with the Data Analytics team, addressing data-accuracy and completeness issues before further analysis.
• Developing and executing repeatable analytics to support operational, financial, and compliance audits, identifying anomalies, patterns, and potential control weaknesses.
• Documenting analytical methods, assumptions, limitations, and results to ensure analyses are traceable, reproducible, and suitable for use as audit evidence.
• Validating analytical results with audit teams and business stakeholders, and communicating insights clearly through visualizations (dashboards) and concise reporting.
• Support the development of AI-enabled audit processes, including the automation of audit programs and testing activities
