ITW in Italy seeks a senior accounting professional to lead month-end and year-end close for assigned entities. You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting under Italian standards and US GAAP where applicable, coordinating with tax advisors.

The role requires strong Excel (incl. VBA), SAP proficiency, and experience with inventory valuation, cost accounting, and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial statements.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Mathematics, or Business Informatics.
• At least 6 years of professional accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills; VBA is a plus.
• Proficiency with SAP, Outlook, and statistical software.
• Familiarity with Italian accounting standards, VAT, and reporting.
• Strong numeracy and analytical abilities; deadline-oriented.

Mansioni

• Act as the primary contact for finance processes for assigned entities.
• Own and coordinate month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries including payroll, accruals, prepayments, provisions.
• Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts (GR/IR, inventory, etc.).
• Review AR/AP aging, perform related reconciliations, and follow up on items.
• Conduct cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• Prepare accurate financial reports per internal policies and standards.
• Support tax and VAT compliance including filings.
• Coordinate year-end actuarial, pension provisions, and transfer pricing adjustments.
• Identify improvements to closing processes and internal controls.
