Job summary

FutuRats S.r.l. in Turin is seeking a Senior Programmer to strengthen the game's technical foundation and collaborate with the Lead Developer. You will design scalable systems, prototype new features, and mentor peers.

The role requires 5+ years of professional game development and proficiency in C#, C++, OOP, with Unity and Unreal Engine expertise. Hybrid work with 1 day remote per week is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional game development experience with at least one released title.
• Strong proficiency in C#, C++, and OOP principles.
• Advanced knowledge of Unity and solid experience with Unreal Engine.
• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design from scratch robust, scalable systems and maintain a clean, optimized codebase for large-scale projects.
• Prototype on new gameplay mechanics and features.
• Conduct Code Reviews through Pull Requests to ensure high standards across the team.
• Work within an AGILE (Scrum-based) framework, collaborating with Designers and Artists.
• Mentor other programmers within the tech team.
