FutuRats SRL, a Turin-based game studio, seeks a highly autonomous Freelance Game Designer to join remotely during critical development phases. You will design game systems, economies, and balancing, and implement mechanics inside Unity or Unreal.

You will document with clear GDDs and collaborate across remote and local teams to meet deadlines. The role requires 3+ years in game design, a strong analytical mindset, experience in Unity or Unreal, and excellent English communication.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional game design experience with shipped titles or major contributions.
• Strong analytical mindset, deep understanding of balancing and system design.
• Hands-on experience in Unity or Unreal Engine, editor navigation essential.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage time in a remote setup.

Responsabilidades

• Design game systems, economies, and mechanics to create engaging gameplay.
• Implement and iterate mechanics inside Unity or Unreal using visual scripting or config tools.
• Create and maintain clear, structured Game Design Documents (GDDs).
• Collaborate remotely, attend sync meetings, and meet deadlines.
