About This Role

We seek a Senior-Level Full Stack Engineer to join 718 Digital Labs on a contract basis with the potential for full-time transition. You will lead the development of features, guide technical decisions, and mentor junior developers on projects such as :

• Volunteer Portal – Connect alumni with mentors and track engagement
• Knowledge Base + AI Chatbot – Build a resource hub and GPT-powered chat support
• DigitalPipeline.io – Connect community members to training, resources, and videos
• KnowledgeBox – Use AI and LMS to generate personalized learning pathways

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of features across TKH’s digital platforms
• Manage technical architecture, standards, and code reviews
• Ensure best practices in CI / CD, testing, and security
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders
• Implement AI tools and automation to improve efficiency
• Evaluate and improve technical processes and frameworks

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack development experience (JavaScript / Node.js / React or similar)
• Proven ability to deliver production applications independently
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and integration
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Proficiency in Python and frameworks like Django or Flask

• Strong focus on code quality, testing, and documentation
• Excellent communication skills
• Mentoring and influencing technical direction

Compensation

• 48 / hour
• 34 hours / week
• 6-month contract-to-hire
