Jobtailor is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain firmware for GNSS receiver products in Italy. You will work on C/C++ software, embedded Linux services, networking, and hardware interfaces across multiple targets.

You'll modernize legacy code, optimize performance, and collaborate across international teams while contributing to CI/CD, automated testing, and engineering best practices.

Competenze

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or software engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software or firmware development.
• Strong C/C++ and CMake expertise, including modern C++ standards.
• Experience with embedded Linux, system APIs, networking, multithreading, kernel interaction, RTOS.
• Python scripting for automation and testing.
• GNSS experience (RTK, PPP, CSSR) is highly desirable.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency; ability to work in international environments.
