Topcon Positioning Group is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to design, develop, test, and modernize embedded software for GNSS receiver products. You will work with hardware, algorithms, and systems teams to deliver reliable, high-performance C/C++ software on embedded Linux platforms.

Responsibilities include designing modular firmware, optimizing resources, integrating with hardware, and contributing to CI/CD practices, debugging, and field support.

Competenze

• 5+ years of embedded software/firmware experience.
• Strong C/C++ (modern) and CMake expertise.
• Embedded Linux, system APIs, networking, kernel interaction, multithreading, RTOS.
• Design and develop modular, reliable, maintainable, high-performance firmware.
• Hardware/software integration, debugging, performance optimization, legacy code modernization.
• Version control, CI/CD, automated testing, code quality; Python scripting.
• GNSS technologies and correction services (RTK, PPP, CSSR) desirable.
• English proficiency at intermediate level or higher.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for GNSS receiver products.
• Integrate firmware with hardware, OS resources, and GNSS corrections.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system and integration issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows, code quality, and automated testing.
