Job summary

Baker Hughes Company is seeking a Finance Senior Specialist - Financial Reporting in Italy to lead the post-merger finance integration and ensure alignment with accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting requirements. You will drive close activities and contribute to enterprise-wide finance projects across global teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, mid-level finance experience, and strong communication and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Mid-level experience in finance.
• Excellent knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and financial reporting processes.
• Proven experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams in a global environment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities with timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Perform balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, flux analysis, and risk assessments.
• Lead and support enterprise-wide finance projects within IET, including legal entity rationalizations and finance transformation.
• Identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation across financial reporting and close processes.
• Support system implementations, finance transformation programs, and reporting enhancements to improve efficiency and governance.
• Partner with Controllership, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Corporate Accounting teams to align on reporting requirements.
