Job summary

Baker Hughes in Italy seeks a Logistics Engineering Leader to drive the Logistics Engineering organization, develop standards, and deploy capabilities for safe, compliant, and cost-effective equipment movement throughout its lifecycle.

You will lead a team of logistics engineers, align activities with business goals, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project teams to enable operational excellence and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Logistics, Industrial, or Transportation Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience in heavy lift/haul transportation, project logistics, packaging, or logistics engineering.
• Proven experience leading technical or multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of transportation engineering, cargo securing, lifting principles, and logistics risk management.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Logistics Engineering within the organization.
• Act as the senior technical authority for logistics engineering on complex projects.
• Establish engineering standards for lifting, handling, transportation, packaging, and cargo protection.
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance across global logistics activities.
• Drive innovation and adoption of new digital tools to improve safety and productivity.
• Maintain logistics quality requirements for packaging, handling, preservation, transportation, storage, and delivery.
