Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Finance professional to join our global Finance team as a Business Senior Controller. You will execute core financial control activities, prepare reports, and ensure data integrity across the organization.

You will manage the month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting processes, while collaborating with SSC and external providers. English proficiency (C1) is required, with a strong accounting background and process improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration and Management.
• Solid accounting background with experience in financial controlling and SSC collaboration.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost controlling, and management reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, databases, ERP systems, and BI tools (Qlik, Power BI).
• English proficiency at C1 level; knowledge of internal control frameworks and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for Corporate Headquarters.
• Manage the closing process including inventory valuation, revenue recognition, accruals, provisions, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with variance analyses against budget and prior year.
• Monitor KPIs and identify risks/opportunities for management decisions.
• Coordinate SSC and BPO activities to ensure service quality and compliance.
• Ensure accounting records comply with local GAAP and internal controls.
