About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Exterior/Interior Designer to join our Design teams.

The ideal candidate is a passionate, experienced, and highly creative automotive designer, capable of delivering innovative design proposals and leading projects with autonomy and precision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality design proposals within project deadlines.
• Deeply understand and embody CHANGAN’s Brand & Design Philosophy and its values.
• Work independently to produce consistent, high-quality design outcomes.
• Understand packaging constraints and engineering requirements.
• Provide precise design inputs for digital and physical modelers.
• Lead digital/physical model development in collaboration with other teams.
• Prepare and participate autonomously in presentations and weekly management reviews.
• Present design proposals to management, including Directors and General Management.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Transportation Design, Automotive Design, or Industrial Design.
• Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in automotive industry.
• Strong hand and digital sketching abilities.
• Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Alias, Blender, VRED, or similar.
• Passion for innovation and precision in design.
• Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Excellent time management and ability to adapt in fast‑paced environments.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is required.
• Knowledge of Chinese is considered a plus.
