Job summary

Alpiq Group in Milano is seeking a senior Origination professional to drive long-term commercial transactions in the Italian energy market. You will originate and structure physical and virtual PPAs, coordinate with trading, risk, and legal teams, and push for decarbonization aligned opportunities across our portfolio.

The role requires 5+ years in energy origination or related fields, fluency in Italian and English, and a proven track record in pricing, valuation, and negotiations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in origination, trading, or business development in energy.
• Deep knowledge of physical and virtual PPAs and hedging.
• Fluent Italian and strong English communication.
• Familiarity with EFET and long-term contract frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Originate and structure physical and virtual PPAs and hedges.
• Lead commercial negotiations with clients and counterparties.
• Provide market valuations and business cases to internal stakeholders.
• Identify decarbonization opportunities and sustainable products.
• Collaborate with Structured Trading, Risk, Legal, and Finance.
• Maintain governance and coordinate internal approvals.
• Develop relationships with producers and large consumers.
