Topcon Positioning Group in Concordia sulla Secchia, Modena is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join our team. You will work on embedded software and firmware for GNSS receiver products used in construction, geomatics, and agriculture worldwide.
This role emphasizes high‑performance C/C++ on embedded Linux, modern software architectures, and seamless hardware integration. You will collaborate with global teams, contribute to CI/CD and code reviews, and help evolve legacy code to be modular,
Competenze
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, CS, or related field.
- 5+ years in embedded software/firmware development.
- Strong C/C++ and CMake, modern standards.
- Experience with embedded Linux, networking, and RTOS.
- English proficiency for international work.
Mansioni
- Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for GNSS products.
- Develop high-performance C/C++ software, including embedded Linux services.
- Modernize legacy code into modular, maintainable architectures.
- Integrate firmware with hardware, GNSS tech, and RTK/PPP/CSSR.
- Optimize performance, reliability across hardware targets.
- Debug complex issues using diagnostics and simulation tools.
- Contribute to code reviews, automated tests, and CI/CD improvements.
