Topcon Electronics in Emilia-Romagna is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and verify embedded software for GNSS receiver products. You will deliver high-performance C/C++ code, embedded Linux services, and hardware interfaces, modernize legacy code, and collaborate across global teams in a hybrid setting.

You will work on RTK, PPP, and CSSR in a role that combines software design with hardware integration, ensuring robust performance across platforms.

Competenze

• Master’s degree required and 5+ years of embedded software or firmware development experience.
• Strong C/C++ and CMake skills with modern C++ standards.
• Solid experience with embedded Linux, system APIs, networking, multithreading, kernel interaction, and RTOS.
• Experience with hardware/software integration, debugging, performance optimization, and legacy code modernization.
• Knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, and testing.
• GNSS experience including RTK, PPP, or CSSR is highly desirable.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency and ability to work in international environments.
