Job summary

Intesa Sanpaolo Group in Milan seeks an experienced Emerging Markets Hard Currency Bond Trader to join the Emerging Markets Trading team. You will take a senior role in trading, market making and risk management across EM hard currency bonds, with a focus on sovereign and quasi-sovereign issuances denominated in USD and EUR.

The role collaborates with Sales and other Trading desks across international hubs to provide pricing, liquidity and market views.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of EM hard currency bond trading experience.
• Experience with sovereign and quasi-sovereign debt risks.
• Strong knowledge of USD- and EUR-denominated EM debt.
• Ability to manage large positions and risk.

Responsibilities

• Trade and market make EM hard currency bonds, primarily USD/EUR.
• Manage market, credit and liquidity risk within limits.
• Provide competitive pricing and liquidity across EM assets.
• Develop relative-value, directional and hedging strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales to share market views and trade ideas.
