EMW, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician (Electronics Maintenance) for on-site work in Lughezzano, Italy.

The role centers on operating and maintaining the Satellite Ground Station and associated communications facilities, including field interventions and data-network support for deployed NATO forces. Key requirements include an active NATO SECRET clearance, 5+ years in related maintenance, and expertise across RF subsystems, MODEMs, cryptographic gear, and TCP/IP networks.

Competenze

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance.
• Diploma/secondary education with 5 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years in operation or maintenance of satellite ground terminals or related systems.
• Experience with RF sub-systems, transmit/receive chains, and associated equipment.
• Familiarity with MODEMs, cryptographic gear, and network routers/switches.
• Knowledge of M&C systems, TCP/IP fundamentals, and telecom QA practices.

Mansioni

• Operate and maintain the Satellite Ground Station and related links, including field interventions.
• Maintain station logs and report outages.
• Activate circuits per work orders and ensure proper provisioning.
• Keep data networks operational to support deployed NATO forces.
• Contribute to on-the-job training and feed back for program improvements.
• Fulfill duties assigned by Station Command and integrate with NCIA/NATO operations.
