EMW in Lughezzano, Italy, seeks a Senior Technician (Electronics Maintenance) to perform unit and field maintenance on the Satellite Ground Station and associated links under the supervision of the Shift Chief. This on-site role requires strong diagnostic and repair skills and adherence to procedures.

Candidates must hold a NATO SECRET clearance, have vocational training or higher education with 5 years of relevant experience, and be proficient with RF chains, GPS standards, fibre optics, and

Competenze

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance.
• 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent with vocational training or diploma.
• Experience with satellite ground terminals or related systems (radars, LOS).
• Knowledge of antenna subsystems, transceiver chains and fibre optics is required.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, modems, cryptographic equipment and M&C systems is essential.

Mansioni

• Operate and perform unit and field maintenance on the Satellite Ground Station and related links.
• Maintain station logs and manage outage reporting.
• Activate circuits per work orders.
• Operate/maintain data networks for reach-back/backhaul for deployed NATO forces.
• Provide feedback for training program improvements and ensure procedures are followed.
• Participate in OJT programs aligned with NCI Academy training.
• Carry out duties as directed by Station Command.
