G.D S.p.A, a Coesia company in Bologna, seeks a senior electrical hardware designer to own the design of control cabinets and electrical systems for high-speed packaging machines. The role is hands-on with technical leadership of projects and coordination of a small team, with a path toward R&D coordination.

You’ll define architectures, create schematics and layouts, ensure CE compliance, and collaborate with mechanical and software offices. Relevant experience and English required.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Automation Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of experience in electrical design of control cabinets for automatic machines.
• Strong command of EPLAN (P8); knowledge of ELCAD is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of industrial automation: PLCs, multi-axis servo systems, fieldbus, cabinet building.
• Knowledge of CE compliance requirements and functional safety principles.

Mansioni

• Develop electrical hardware designs compliant with project requirements, schedules and cost targets.
• Create electrical schematics, cabinet layouts, BOMs, assembly drawings and related documentation.
• Define control cabinet architectures for modern automatic machines (PLC, servo drives, fieldbus).
• Propose innovative, cost-effective machine changes and update design standards.
• Coordinate a small team of internal/external designers and suppliers.
