Cavotec is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our project team and deliver automation solutions for automated mooring and plug-in charging systems. The role focuses on designing, developing and implementing automation software and hardware, with on-site startup and operator training as required.

• Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering degree required.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate across teams.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management in a fast-paced environment.

Mansioni

• Define the tasks of the system on the basis of the functional specification and electrical diagram.
• Design the automation system architecture and selection of the automation hardware.
• Design electrical schematic for LV control switchgear (LV/MV power switchgears would be a plus).
• Design the software program of the PLC.
• Variable Frequency Drives programming, settings and parametrization.
• Software downloading and testing.
• Selection of field instruments and sensors.
• Start up on site when required.
• Training to the Operators on site when required.
• Technical support to service team for trouble shooting on site job.

Your mission

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will join our project team of automation engineers to deliver high quality and cost-effective engineering solutions for our customers. Your primary task will be design, develop and implement automation system for automated mooring and advanced automatic plug-in charging system.

Key Responsabilities
