Cavotec in Italy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our automation team. You will design, develop and implement automation systems for automated mooring and plug-in charging, delivering high-quality and cost-effective solutions.

You will define system tasks, design architecture and LV/MV schematics, program PLCs and VFDs, select sensors, and support on-site start-up and training. A degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering and fluent English are required, with strong

Your mission

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will join our project team of automation engineers to deliver high quality and cost-effective engineering solutions for our customers. Your primary task will be design, develop and implement automation system for automated mooring and advanced automatic plug-in charging system.

Key Responsabilities

• Define the tasks of the system on the basis of the functional specification and electrical diagram
• Design of the automation system architecture and selection of the automation hardware
• Design electrical schematic for LV control switchgear (LV/MV power switchgears would be a plus)
• Design the software program of the PLC
• Variable Frequency Drives programming, settings and parametrization
• Software downloading and testing
• Selection of field instruments and sensors
• Start up on site when required
• Training to the Operators on site when required
• Technical support to service team for trouble shooting on site job

• Computer skills (Microsoft Office and Electric CAD proficiency)
