NXP Semiconductors in Italy is seeking an experienced Digital IC Design Engineer to lead the full design flow for complex SOCs. You will work with analog, mixed-signal, and software teams to optimize interfaces and performance, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to post-silicon validation.

The role requires a master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering and 5+ years in digital IC design, with strong Verilog/SystemVerilog and EDA tool expertise.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in digital IC design.
• Expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog for RTL design and verification.
• Proven experience with industry-standard EDA tools for synthesis, STA, formal verification, and simulation.
• Strong understanding of digital design principles, CDC issues, power integrity, and low-power design techniques.

Mansioni

• Lead and execute the full digital IC design flow for complex SOCs, including specification, architecture, RTL coding, synthesis, STA, formal verification, and power analysis.
• Contribute to DFT implementation and verification.
• Collaborate with analog, mixed-signal, and software teams to define interfaces and optimize performance.
• Develop innovative digital architectures and design methodologies to meet performance/power/area targets.
• Perform comprehensive design verification using simulations, formal verification, and hardware emulation.
• Contribute to post-silicon validation and debugging to ensure product quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve design processes and methodologies.
• Generate detailed design documentation including specs, test plans, and design reviews.
