Job summary

team.blue seeks a Senior Data Platform Engineer to shape and govern our central data ecosystem across 60+ brands. You will own Databricks-based pipelines, drive data product development, and champion scalable, secure architectures across AWS and the modern data stack.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Analytics, ML, and AI teams, and push for high-performance, low-latency data services that fuel business intelligence and AI initiatives across Europe.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional data engineering or data management experience.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, STEM, or related quantitative field.
• Proven track record delivering scalable data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Data Platform Ownership: manage Databricks/Airflow/dbt and AWS.
• Data Product Innovation: deliver scalable data products across 60+ brands.
• Pipeline Engineering: build robust ETL/ELT pipelines with low latency.
• Architectural Leadership: design secure, cost-efficient data architectures.
• Governance & Integrity: implement lineage, metadata, and quality controls.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Analytics, ML, and AI teams.
• Platform Optimization: tune performance, indexing, and schema evolution.
• Mentorship: grow the engineering team's expertise.
