team.blue is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and govern our central data ecosystem across 60+ sub-brands. You will own data infrastructure, design scalable data products, and enable AI initiatives by turning raw data into a strategic semantic layer.

You will collaborate with Analytics, ML, and AI teams, drive best practices in data modeling, instrumentation, and governance, and mentor junior engineers while optimizing performance and cost across Databricks, Airflow, dbt, and AWS.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering or data management.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, STEM, or related field.

• Own and optimize our Data Infrastructure including Databricks, Airflow, dbt, Gitlab & AWS.
• Design and deliver scalable data products serving 60+ global sub-brands.
• Build and optimize robust ETL/ELT pipelines for high-volume data.
• Lead secure, cost-efficient data architectures with best practices in data modeling and observability.
• Implement data governance with lineage tracking, metadata management, and quality controls.
• Collaborate with Analytics, ML, and AI teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence across the team.
• Tune performance and cost with platform optimization and indexing strategies.
