Job summary

team.blue is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to own and evolve our central data ecosystem across 60+ subbrands. You will build, scale and govern high-value data products powering business intelligence, operational efficiency, and AI initiatives.

Lead Databricks, Airflow, dbt and AWS platforms; design scalable data architectures; implement governance and metadata; collaborate with Analytics, ML and AI teams to translate business needs into robust tech solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional data engineering or data management experience.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, STEM or related field.
• Proven deployment of high-performance data solutions delivering business value.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize our data infrastructure including Databricks, Airflow, dbt, Gitlab & AWS.
• Design and deliver scalable data products providing a unified source of truth.
• Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines with high availability and low latency.
• Lead secure, cost-efficient data architectures and governance practices.
• Collaborate with Analytics, ML, and AI teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Drive platform optimization around indexing, query performance, and schema evolution.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence.
