Speechify is hiring a Data Engineer to join the AI data team. You’ll own data collection and ingestion pipelines to support model training at petabyte scale, working with cloud infra and research partners.

You will collaborate with scientists to improve data quality, cost, and throughput, and help shape the dataset roadmap for next-generation consumer and enterprise products, in a fully distributed environment.

Competenze

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code and GCP.
• Experience with web crawlers or large-scale data processing is a plus.

Mansioni

• Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and bring it into our ingestion pipeline.
• Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline using Terraform and GCP.
• Collaborate with Scientists to improve cost, throughput, and data quality for big-scale models.
• Help craft the dataset roadmap with AI Team and Leadership for future products.
