Speechify is seeking a backend-focused engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust APIs for public and internal use, including payment and subscription services. You will oversee the entire API landscape, driving performance and maintainability while aligning with product strategy and user experiences.

This role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, values clear communication, and enjoys delivering high-impact backend solutions in a fully distributed team.

Competenze

• Proven backend development experience with TS/Node.
• Direct experience with GCP and knowledge of AWS or Azure.
• Ability to ideate and implement tasks by impact.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments; Kubernetes HA.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API, internal APIs like Payment, Subscription, Auth and Consumption Tracking, ensuring they meet business and scalability requirements.
• Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing and optimizing for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience.
