Job summary

PE Global Recruitment are seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager for a Data Centre project in Italy. The role is full time and based on site in Bertonico, Lombardy. You will manage all mechanical works on site, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and quality across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of mechanical construction experience, lead coordinated site operations, and drive QA/QC and safety on site. Italian work location and travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of mechanical construction experience on site.
• Proven ability to manage HVAC, piping and related services on large projects.
• Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.
• Experience with QA/QC and safety standards on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day mechanical site operations and coordinate with the project team.
• Oversee all mechanical construction activities throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure QA/QC processes align with specifications and standards.
• Coordinate schedules with planners, subcontractors and design teams.
• Track progress, costs, and manage subcontractor performance.
• Lead site meetings and review drawings/submittals for buildability.
• Drive safety culture and report progress to management.
• Close-out snagging and resolve technical issues.
