Wood is recruiting a Construction Manager for our Life Sciences division in Milan, overseeing pharmaceutical and biotech projects across Europe. The role is based in Corsico and requires on-site availability, with hybrid options where relevant.

We seek a senior professional with 10–15 years field experience, strong leadership, and a proven track record in construction management and safety compliance. Competitive package and global opportunities are provided.

Competenze

• BSc in engineering or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
• High level of field construction experience, typically 10–15 years post-qualification.
• Proven experience in the management of office.

Mansioni

• Be the primary contact with the Project Manager for all Project matters raised in field.
• Ensure the Construction is completed in time, within budget and according to safety and quality requirements.
• Chair and record the Kick-off and progress meetings with subcontractors.
• Review and approve construction schedules with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate field engineers and QA documentation; review project data and schedules.
• Organize start-up of field activities and ensure safety compliance on site.
