Wood is seeking a Home Office Construction Engineer to join our Life Sciences division in Milan, with hybrid work options up to two days per week. The role focuses on construction input during engineering, strategy development, and contractor selection across Europe and internationally.

Ideal candidates have an engineering degree and 2+ years in a similar role, fluent in English and Italian, and willing to travel within Italy and abroad.

Competenze

• Graduate in Engineering (preferable Edil, Civil or Mechanical).
• At least two years of experience in a similar or comparable role.
• Fluent in English and Italian language.
• Availability to assignments in Italy and abroad is mandatory; international mobility is essential.

Mansioni

• Provide construction input to the project throughout the engineering phase.
• Assist with aspects of the project construction strategy, execution planning and contracting strategy.
• Provide input to the assessment and selection of construction contractors.
• Prepare and review documents for approval to communicate installation sequencing.
• Prepare project specific site procedures and work practices as necessary to meet Client requirements.
• Provide Construction Engineering in accordance with project requirements and Home Office procedures.
• Liaise with designers, engineers and Home Office Construction Manager / Coordinator to maximise constructability.
